Moto E5 Plus

Quick review of Moto E5 Plus

Here we are reviewing Moto E5 Plus 32gb variant that means 3 GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage and it’s made in India. The biggest thing about Moto e5 Plus is that, it comes with 5000 milliamp power battery. And now Motorola is giving almost a 6 inch screen on this one. So looks like they’re concentrating it and making it like a multimedia consumption device and if you recall the earlier Moto e series devices used to come with mediatek chipsets. But this time motorola has gone with the Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset which is the Snapdragon 4/3 P.

Moto E5 Plus

Moto E5 Plus

Moto E5 Plus having the new screen aspect ratio that is 18:9. Hence it looks really nice and a case is also pre-installed on this it. Further, I thought it would be really heavy. But considering it’s having a 6 inch screen and 5000 milliamp power battery, It’s not very heavy. We would say, the weight balance is done there really well and the back also having glossy mirror finish. It looks like a plastic pack. It’s not metal but again in terms of looks its having a nice looks and if you talk about the camera, we have actually two modules for the rear facing camera but it’s not dual camera set of one, as a 12 megapixel main camera and second is actually a laser auto focusing system.

Moto G5 Plus Accessories

Further, Let me tell you what else Motorola has given in terms of accessories : So this comes out with the ejector tool, some manuals and staff (even in Hindi) so it says Made in India over it and they also give us a headset, We didn’t expect that they’ll bundle a headset. It’s odd headset made up of plastic but yeah you’re getting a gear phone and it also has a button. So you’re getting this and obviously microUSB cable with type C standard microUSB cable and a power bank. So the rating is 5.2 volts, 2 amps charger that you’re getting. So not technically a fast charger but thankfully they at least give a 2 amps charge and got a 1.5 or 1 amp charger.

Camera overview

Moto E5 Plus

Now let talk about the Moto E5 Plus Headsets : So first let me give you a physical overview, we have a secondary noise cancellation microphone, 3.5 mm headphone jack and the exterior is also made of plastic. We have the volume rockers power of parting, they’re giving good tactile feel. So in pretty quality at least they’re doing a good job microUSB port and main microphone. And It really good to see, a dedicated micro SD card slot and to nano sense that you can put, so that’s a nice thing.

Configuration Overview

Moto E5 Plus

Now let’s me give you configuration overview: This Moto E5 Plus is having a 6 inch IPS LCD screen and the 8:9 aspect ratio. It’s a 720p HD being protected by gorilla glass at sparked by the Snapdragon 430 chipset, which is octa-core processor. Moto E5 Plus comes with 3 gigabytes of RAM and 32gb of internal storage. Moving to the camera, Moto E5 Plus having a 12 megapixel rear facing camera with f 2.0 lens and a 5 megapixel front facing camera. It also has a fingerprint scanner and a 5000 milliamp power battery.

Moto E5 Plus

It’s the Motorola devices that almost stock Android experience that you are getting apart from some third-party apps that are pre-installed for example: PhonePay, LinkedIn and others and it also has some neutralised specific apps again like moto actions and even moto display those are Motorola specific apps but apart from that almost talking Android experience that you’re getting. It’s running on the Android version 8.0. Further out of the 32gb just about 60 bites used. So roughly about 25 gigabytes of space is available to you. But again as we mentioned before you can put a main dedicated microSD card on this Moto E5 Plus. So storage should not be a issue on this smartphone. And if you go to display, we also have adaptive brightness that means auto brightness sensor is there on this Moto E5 Plus. So that’s actually nice thing. The fingerprint scanner is also there in this Moto E5 Plus, finally they have implemented that. And it is really responsive, it takes about half a second that’s because of the animation and the moment you touch it gives a haptic feedback and then it comes that delay. We’ll tried it multiple times and it’s working, so that’s regarding fingerprint scanner. And again we have to say, for a 5000 milliamp power device Motorola has done a great job in terms of weight balance. It does not feel which part is heavy, top-heavy or bottom heavy, so the balance has been done really well. It’s a 720p HD plus screen but the screen quality is actually decent with this Moto E5 Plus.

Camera Quality

Moto E5 Plus

And Finally let’s also look at the camera because it looks like dual camera setup but indeed it’s not a dual camera setup. It’s a laser auto focusing system. So the focusing speech should be actually pretty fast because of laser autofocus system. And you can adjust the exposure and it also has auto HDR. There are some other modes that you’re getting, even professional mode with this Moto E5 Plus.
